All beauty submitted for resale must be authentic, undamaged, properly stored, and have enough shelf life left for resale.
Products we may accept once used
Some opened or lightly used products may be eligible for resale, depending on the product type (see below for products we can’t resell once used) and overall condition. To be considered, products must:
- Be at least ¾ full
- Be within their period after opening (PAO)
- Have been properly stored and remain hygienic
- Be in pump, tube, or non-direct application packaging
Acceptance depends on the product type, formulation, and overall condition, and not all used products will be suitable for resale.
Products we can’t resell once used
Due to hygiene and safety considerations, the following product types can’t be resold with us once used, even just once.
- Products requiring direct application (e.g. mascara, lip gloss, concealer, nail polish)
- Products in open-jar packaging (e.g. moisturisers, cleansing balms)
- Cream or powder-based makeup (e.g. lipstick, cream blush, eyeshadow palettes)
Additionally, the following product types aren’t suitable for resale once used, even just once:
- Accessories or tools (e.g. brushes, cosmetic bags, scrunchies)
- Mini or travel-size products
- Products with low resale value (generally under $25 NZD RRP)
Products we don’t accept (regardless of condition)
- Medical-grade or prescription products
- Supermarket toiletries (e.g. toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash)
- Electronic tools or devices (e.g. hair curlers, straighteners, blow dryers)
- Ingestible products (e.g. supplements, collagen powders, protein powders)
- Sample-size products (These may be listed in our free self-select samples section)
